Collection consists of 41 letters from Anatole France to Anthippe Sevastos Couchoud; 9 letters to her husband Paul Louis Couchoud; 3 letters to both Anthippe Sevastos and Paul Louis Couchoud; 1 letter from Carlos Blacker to Paul Louis Couchoud; and 1 label printed with the likeness of Woodrow Wilson and addressed to Madame Couchoud. Most letters are undated. Collection also contains 51 envelopes addressed to either Anthippe Sevastos or Paul Louis Couchoud, which are postmarked 1914-1922.
